Michelle worked as a teacher before establishing Youth Excel in 2000, a charity
devoted to working with teenagers from all walks of life to ensure they reach their
full potential. Youth Excel delivers small group programs and mentoring to
hundreds of teenage girls in Brisbane each year, ensuring Michelle remains at the
cutting edge of teenage culture. Her core philosophy is that families and
communities hold the key to the issues facing Australia’s youth.
