I just love summer stonefruit. It's rich in vitamins A, C and E, is a great source of dietary fibre and postassium. We're so fortunate in Australia to have our stonefruit season stretch for six months from October to April because of the extremes of climate from north-to-south.
At the moment, the plums are especially delicious so I thought I'd share with your this VERY quick and very delicious Chinese stir-fry recipe incorporating my favourite fruit of the moment! Plums come in all shapes, sizes, colour and tastes. I generally like full-coloured ones that become a little dull just before they're ready to eat. They taste good in so many things and I think you'll really enjoy this recipe.
