After not being happy with the appearance of my teeth, I decided that perhaps an electronic toothbrush would help keep them as clean as possible.
I picked up the Oral-B Vitality Precision Clean Toothbrush from Priceline and put it to the test.
On first use, my teeth bled a bit and I remember thinking it was perhaps the longest two minutes ever, but my teeth were the cleanest they had ever been afterwards.
They felt amazing and timer was perfect for ensuring I brushed them for long enough – even when children ran into the bathroom with their various requests.
Anyway, my gums got used to it quickly. I have been using the toothbrush for two months and it has definitely removed more plaque than the old manual brush I used to use.
I have also been using it with a tooth-whitening toothpaste to try and rectify the impact of my passion for great coffee, red wine and chocolate.
I’m very happy with it and vouch for it to mums looking for a no bells and whistles electronic toothbrush that will get the job done properly.
And if you think your teeth are clean now with a manual toothbrush, one of these electronic toothbrushes quickly shows you that perhaps you weren’t giving the proper clean they need and deserve.
The toothbrush itself is also easy to keep clean as the head comes off easily. You do need to replace them, which is an ongoing expense, but I think worth it.
My husband has also been impressed by my experience and has picked up his own. Amusing, as he was skeptical to begin with when I pulled the packed out of the bag after returning from the shop - muttering something about a waste of money and doubted it would be any better than a manual toothbrush people have using for decades.
But I won’t remind him of that. We’ll just pretend it was his idea.
I give it five stars and highly recommend it to people wanting cleaner teeth.
