Skin care brand Alpha Keri is partnering with the McGrath Foundation to celebrate the happy moments between mothers and their children with a competition designed to raise awareness for breast cancer.
The national campaign kicked off August 3 and will run throughout August and September, with Alpha Keri donating $1 for every specially marked 1L product sold, to a total value of $10,000.
With breast cancer the most commonly diagnosed cancer among women in Australia – affecting an estimated 128,000 families each year, the Happy Moment competition will celebrate the support women give each other, and honour the support the McGrath Breast Care Nurses give Australian families
The Happy Moment competition will give people the opportunity to share a photo of a happy moment to Instagram or Facebook and hashtag #happymoment #mcgrathfoundation and #alphakeri for the chance to win a share in $10,000 worth of prizes.
“Whether it’s your Mum, daughter or friends – everyone has women in their lives who give them so much joy, happiness and support, particularly through the hard times. The Happy Moment campaign is a chance to recognise those relationships,” Nicole Middelkoop, Brand Manager for Alpha Keri said.
“We really wanted to partner with the McGrath Foundation as we believe the work they do to support women in Australia is so important – women are usually the ones looking after everyone else in their lives, so its really great to be able to give back to them through the foundation and by celebrating the happy moments between mothers and their children.”
The best Alpha Keri ‘Happy Moment’ will win $5,000 to help put a smile on your face, with the 25 runners up to receive a $200 Eftpos gift card and an Alpha Keri ‘Happy Skin Pack’ worth $50.
