Salute our native nut this Australia Day with this drool-worthy recipe for an all-Australian treat of macadamia chocolate crackles.
Australia is the birthplace of macadamias and the story of the world's finest nut began thousands of years ago. Today, they are grown in the same rich, fertile soils and have the natural advantage of being grown in their country of origin.
Macadamias are the perfect special occasion food thanks to their creamy, buttery taste so there’s no better time to really embrace the local produce. As well as being a versatile ingredient in both sweet and savoury dishes, macadamias are really good for you and jam-packed with vitamins and minerals, as well as protein and fibre, so incorporating the tasty nut into daily meals can help improve and maintain overall health.
