With an asthmatic in our house, it’s essential we have a good vacuum cleaner.
My last one bite the dust (pun intended) a few months back and it was time to invest in a vacuum that would basically clean up everything after the children – cereal, dirt from outside, crumbs from sandwiches and glitter from my daughter’s obsession with craft.
Like a lot of mums, I tend to vacuum everyday, so I wanted something that delivered on pick-up, was light and easy to manoeuvre – and didn’t cost the earth.
Let’s face it. We’d all prefer to spend money on clothes, nights out and holidays than on household items for boring jobs.
So when I came across vacuums that cost more than our family holiday last year – I quickly reset the sale expectations of the nice gentleman at Harvey Norman.
Anyway, the Vax 1200W Air Upright Vacuum is a powerful, clean vacuum cleaner that has great pick-up and weights under 5kg.
It delivers reach and can be adjusted the many heights on the family – even though I tend to be the only one who ever vacuums, but still live in hope someone else may do it one day.
My husband has noticed a difference in his allergies from dust, so I’d have to say the filter system is effective and there’s definitely not as much general sneezing when I’m cleaning.
I’m also not going over the same spot several times before giving up and pretending the mess isn’t there like I used to before with the old one.
It does a great cleaning job, good for families with allergies and doesn’t cost the earth at $249, so you can spend your savings on more enjoyable items.
I recommend the Vax 1200W Air Upright Vacuum to others needing a new one.
