Family, friends, and the perfect vacation:

There’s a moment in life when we begin to desire for a little more than we used to. It may feel weird at first, but it’s a perfectly normal feeling: as we grow up, we tend to look for more comfort, less complications, and equal fun than before.

Usually, the process begins with the little things: buying a tastier wine at the supermarket, getting a better mattress to sleep through the night, choosing a more reliable car. Each of these choices carries a new meaning too: I’m doing this now to feel better in the future. Hope, it happens, works as the perfect fuel for making better choices.

The change is also extensive to vacations and leisure time: suddenly, isolated beaches without amenities and services make us doubt; complicated itineraries tire us in advance; cheap hostels hosting nightly beer pong championships don’t sound as appealing as they once used to.

Traditional hotels don’t make the cut either: hefty prices aside, the prospect of being confined to a room may do the trick if we’re attending a business conference or having a romantic escapade, but when it comes to a full-fledged vacation with family and friends, we need to do better. Finding the exact combination of privacy, space and amenities without the rigidness and standardization of hotels may strike as hard, but there’s a perfect answer to it: private villas in dream-like tropical destinations.

There are three qualities that make villas stand a whole level above hotels: variety, pricing, and possibilities. Price-wise, they tend to be more affordable than hotels, where drinks alone can send the bill well into outer space. In addition, the most interesting aspect about villas is not related to a specific amenity or location, but to the possibilities they give: villas adapt to what the visitors want and expect, and not the other way around. Dreaming of a barbecue party under the stars? That’s an easy one. Thinking of an infinity pool facing the ocean? It can be arranged. Looking for privacy, but also for extra services? Look no further. Endless possibilities are certainly a better choice than fixed offerings.
