Luxuread, a monthly book subscription box service, has launched Luxuread Kids for children aged between 0 and 12 years. Luxuread Kids sends three books per month centred around a specific theme, and offers boxes tailored for ages 0-3 years, 4-7 years, and 8-12 years.
Created in 2018 by founder Katie Moore, Luxuread is helping adults and kids alike take time out of their busy days to sit down, relax, and read. To date, Luxuread has sent out over 5,000 boxes to customers around Australia and beyond, with a huge uplift in demand as we all spend more time at home due to COVID-19.
Founder Katie Moore said: “It’s important to instil a love of reading in your children from a young age, but finding the perfect books for them can be a challenge. Luxuread Kids brings children the excitement of a curated box that is delivered each month, filled with three books selected specifically for their age range and waiting to take them to another world where a love of reading can be fostered.
“Customers can now say goodbye to scanning through hundreds of thousands of options online, or trying to juggle several noisy kids in a quiet bookshop,” she added.
“Nothing beats the excitement of a parcel arriving, especially when you’re a kid. The joy of receiving a parcel every month is enough to instil a lifetime’s love of reading in your child.”
Adults can join in on the fun too with the regular Luxuread subscription boxes, which are available in seven genres including true crime, romance, thriller, biography, young adult, general fiction and fantasy.
Included alongside the best books in publishing are premium quality treats including candles, aromatic bath salts, face masks and gourmet chocolates from Australian small businesses.
The Luxuread team works hard to ensure all the books included in the subscription boxes are fresh finds, and not necessarily the chart topping hits that everyone has already heard of.
Katie added: “’Read more’ is everyone’s New Year’s resolution, but how many of us actually make the time to sit down with a good book? How many of us are so busy with life, work, and everything in between that reading is constantly shoved to the bottom of the to do list?
