Men and women are wired differently. And yet I often see women making the same mistake which leads to disharmony in their marriage; expecting their husband to act and think like their girlfriend.
And being disappointed when they don't. "When I get home with the grocery shopping, why doesn't he help me bring it in from the car instead of sitting on the couch glued to the TV? I shouldn't HAVE to ask him"
And you WOULDN'T have to ask a girlfriend. She would notice an opportunity to help. And she would help. Without being asked.
But men do think differently to women and once you communicate with them keeping this in mind, you may be pleasantly surprised with their willingness to help.
"I'm home with the shopping. I would be grateful if you helped me by grabbing a couple of bags from the car..."
And you shouldn't have to ask. But if you do, you may get the help you want. Without the angst.
Just ask.
