We see so much great technology around today, we could have one story a day just trying to keep up-to-date with it.
But every now and then one comes along which is really worth sharing - and this is one.
Every day we collect new memories, stories, photos, videos of our children's lives. BlinkBuggy is designed for the parent, grandparent, aunt or uncle - or anyone really - who likes to show baby pictures, or wants to keep a photographic record of an individual or family. It is quite special.
It's a new website which is essentially a digital brag book that you can share if you want, but which is also totally secure. It means you can document milestones, tell stories to your kids for them to remember for ever and share photos all in one well-organised place. The reason it's special is because it has captured the traditional pen-and-paper baby book but put it into a digital format.
Having said that, it doesn't have to be just about babies. As the BlinkBuggy blog suggests, it can also keep records for an entire family to help build a family narrative and build and maintain family traditions.
You can lay it out the way you want, record the big moments - bringing baby home, first words, family voations, funny things they say, piano practice, sporting teams, first dance etcetera. This can be done in reverse chronological order so the most recent entry is first. You can also import photos from Google+, Facebook and Instagram, as well as invite friends and family to view the book and contribute their own stories or pictures. The privacy controls allow you to choose what others can, or cannot, see.
BlinkBuggy was developed by a product specialist at Google who is also a mum living in New York. Check it out here.
