The actress, who is expecting her first child with her British husband Hugh Dancy, is busy filming scenes for the drama's second season.
However, Danes is adamant her pregnancy hasn't caused any problems at work and will not be written into the script.
"We're about midway (through season two), we're shooting episode six; this hasn't run into any interference," she has told reporters at a Television Critics Association (TCA) panel.
She said she had been "a little concerned" about the physical demands of the role but "it's proven to be a non-issue".
"All is well and (Danes's CIA agent character) Carrie remains fervently non-pregnant."
Danes also said she is pressing forward with plans to go abroad if producers plot a possible trip to Israel.
"I think people think of Israel as being incredibly dangerous and volatile - that was not my experience," she said. "He (the baby) will have to come with me - he, she, whoever he is."
