A survey released by Shape Magazine shows 68 per cent of women would give up sex for at least a month in exchange for their ideal beach body.
And according to this survey, over 50 per cent of women say they hate their abs, while 29 per cent revealed they are most insecure about their thighs.
When it comes to working out, 47 per cent admit to working on their abs more than any other muscle group.
In the survey, women who feel pressure to slim down cite Facebook as a large contributor. 90 per cent of readers said that they would never 'like' a photo of themselves tagged wearing a bikini, and 44 per cent would remove the tag or ask their friend to take down the photo.
And how do women shed weight? 53 per cent cutting calories, 22 per cent forgoing carbs, and 15 per cent trying other strategies.
Rhian Allen from losebabyweight.com.au says she is not surprised by the significant numbers of women with insecurities.
"So much of the confidence we feel comes from how we look - hence why a new outfit can give us all a nice confidence boost.”
“But if mums incorporate more incidental exercise into their days and work on improving their diets, these small changes will soon add up and the results in your body and weight will significantly improve your health confidence - all without going without sex!”
So would you go without sex if it meant you'd have a better bod?
