Waratah Rugby Union players Pat McCutcheon, Bernard Foley, Rob Horne and Sam Lane are showcasing their skills for brain cancer with a skills and drills rugby clinic open to everyone at the annual Walk4Life family day out in Centennial Park, Sydney on November 4 from 10.00am.
The family friendly walk and day out aids Dr Charlie Teo's brain cancer research charity, Cure For Life Foundation.
Brain cancer is the biggest cancer killer of Australians under thirty nine, only a quarter of Australians diagnosed with brain cancer live past two years.
The founder of Cure For Life Foundation, neurosurgeon Dr Charlie Teo AM, and his family will be walking alongside committed Sydneysiders including Olympian, Matt Shirvington and his family and television personality Holly Brisley.
Two hat chef Colin Fassnidge, from the Four in Hand and 4Fourteen will be 'manning the barbie' with hatted chefs Shannon Debreceny and Jeff Bennett from Three Blue Ducks, Sean Connolly from The Morrison and Masterchef 2012 finalist Amina Elshafei.
The event which kicks off at 10.00am with family friendly entertainment including an exclusive acoustic concert from Triple J unearthed number one band Castlecomer.
