The TV talent show, recently rejigged in an effort to win viewers, has been axed by Network Ten.
Hosted by Sarah Murdoch, the show pitted two teams of dancers, mentored by Derulo and Kelly Rowland, against each other in front of a live audience.
Following its initial poor ratings, Ten decided to cut it from three nights a week to one but now has chosen to axe it completely.
"As part of the renewal of Network Ten's creative content, we are trying new formats and creating more programming options. Unfortunately, we didn't get the Everybody Dance Now format right," Network Ten chief executive James Warburton said on Tuesday.
"Kelly, Jason and Sarah are fantastic presenters. Their professionalism and commitment to Everybody Dance Now was remarkable, and the many talented dancers on the show were amazing.
"Although we worked with FremantleMedia to reset the program, clearly it has not struck a chord with viewers."
Ten has moved repeats of Graham Norton Express into the Sunday 8pm timeslot left vacant by the show's departure.
The network will no doubt be hoping for better results for I Will Survive, its Priscilla, Queen of the Desert-style search for the best all-round singer, dancer and actor which begins screening on Tuesday.
