The pop singer, who has just released her new single Blow Me One Last Kiss, has told the Nine Network's Today show she had to have her gall bladder surgically removed in May. She says the ordeal got a little "scary" at one stage.
"I planned this amazing party (for Willow) ... cake, a balloon animal person, I hired a lifeguard and I had surgery, so I was in the hospital on her birthday, so she had to have cake in the hospital," Pink said.
"I have the saddest pictures, I have like oxygen in my ear because my heart went bad or something happened where they thought I was having a heart attack from the medicine. It was actually quite scary at one point, but Willow was with me so everything was fine."
Pink says she had to stop working out after the surgery but is now fully recovered and hopes to be fit again soon.
The singer and her husband Carey Hart welcomed their first child, daughter Willow Sage, into the world last year. In her role as mum Pink says she's "amazing".
"I'm so much better of a mum than I thought I would be.
"I'm impatient but she's my "Miyagi Son", she's my teacher and I'm a grasshopper."
Pink will bring her family to Australia later this year as part of promotional tour for her new album The Truth About Love.
