His live show has been described by none other than the New York Times as a “full-scale spectacle … by an all-round showman who can be as dramatic or flirtatious as he wants” which appeals equally to women and men.
Ricky Martin, who has recently had a starring turn on Australian television through The Voice, has extended his October concert tour in Australia with additional shows in Sydney and Melbourne. Martin has also just released a greatest hits souvenir edition that is already certified ‘Gold’.
Not long along he was delighting capacity audiences and critics with extensive stadium and arena concerts across Latin America, The United States, Europe and Asia. Buoyed by the big welcome mat shown to him by Australian fans through his television appearances, Martin is bringing his high-energy show to Australia.
“I am so excited to bring my music back to the stage again and see all of my loving and loyal Aussie fans up close. I am looking forward to playing some new material, some of the classics and a few surprises” says Martin.
Martin is the leading Latin Music figure of his generation - beloved by fans worldwide for his instinctive understanding of rhythm, passion for performing, and equal compassion for giving. He is considered a global ambassador for Latin music and recognised by the Latin Recording Academy as the youngest performer to be presented with its highest award.
