Genius Sensor and ‘One-push Reheating’ button takes the guesswork out of reheating
Sydney, 3 September 2019 – Panasonic has launched its latest convection, grill and combination cooking microwave, boasting a new award-winning, slimline design1 along with family favourite innovations, such as the genius sensor, one-push reheating technology and a pre-programmed junior menu. Set to make cooking convenient and healthy, the latest microwave is the perfect addition to modern Aussie kitchens.
The 34L Inverter Combi Microwave Oven (NN-CD87KSBPQ model – RRP $769) in stylish stainless steel, features an intelligent design, with the fan being moved to inside the top of the unit to reduce bulk and create room for a spacious 36cm turntable. This latest model gives families the freedom to use larger plates and utensils and cook festive dishes such as a whole chicken in one go.
Although the space inside has increased, the overall size is still approximately 15 per cent smaller than conventional combination ovens, giving users more space on the kitchen bench to prep, get creative and enjoy nourishing meals.
Samantha Dawson, Product Marketing Manager, Microwaves, Panasonic Australia, said:
“There is a good reason why Panasonic is Australia’s best-selling microwave brand2. We have leveraged 30 years of innovation in appliance technology to create microwave ovens which can prepare healthy, delicious and perfectly cooked meals every time – making it easier for all.
“Our latest convection, grill and combination microwave is packed with convenient features such as the genius sensor, one-push reheating technology and pre-programmed junior menu, making it perfect for busy families with fussy eaters or individuals on-the-go.”
“We’re confident that the new, slimline Panasonic NN-CD87 model will appeal to people who are after versatility, space in the kitchen, and a high-quality solution for efficient and healthy cooking.”
NN-CD87 FEATURES
Genius Sensor for perfect cooking and heating
The specialised Genius Sensor monitors humidity levels to achieve optimal heating and cooking results without the guesswork. It also includes a ‘One-Push Reheating’ button, which instructs the Genius Sensor to calculate the appropriate reheating time required automatically with absolute ease. Several Auto Menus also work with the Genius Sensor, meaning the correct cooking or reheating time is applied without needing to select the power, time or weight.
Fresh and nutritious meals thanks to Inverter Technology
The NN-CD87 model features Panasonic’s Inverter Microwave technology, which controls power precisely to cook food gently and evenly, resulting in nutrients being preserved. Whether they are heating baby food, poaching eggs, baking cakes or defrosting steaks, Australian families can evenly and efficiently heat and defrost even the most sensitive foods in record time.
Convenient pre-programmed menus
Panasonic’s Junior Menu feature – a convenient, pre-programmed automatic menu with seven options for children, ensures even the fussiest eaters can still enjoy healthy delights. Pre- programmed options include puréed fruits and vegetables, pasta bake, vegetable fries and more.
The NN-CD87 model includes a round glass turntable, round wire rack and round enamel tray. An optional Trim Kit (NN-TK81KCSCP) is also available to integrate the microwave into kitchen cabinets for a sleek, stylish look.
