If you sometimes tear your hair out wondering how to encourage your children to have more fruit, Australia's very own juice company, nudie, may be able to help.
nudie has recently launched its first ever fruit juice made especially for children.
The new range is made from nothing but fruit, is not made from concentrate and has no added sugar or preservatives. Every kids nudie contains two serves of fruit which is great contribution towards the recommended daily intake of fruit for children.
"As a mum, I know it's a challenge to get kids to eat the right amount of fruit every day, so combining a kids nudie juice with a whole piece of fruit is a great way of ensuring kids get the fruit they need each day," says Liz Ellis, the former captain of the Aussie Diamonds netball team.
"Like most parents, I worry about what to give my daughter and sometimes I do feel guilty about what she eats and rinks. With this new kids' nudie, there is no need to worry. Unlike so many other juices on the market, this is made from nothing but fruit," says Liz.
Parents consider 100% fruit juice as the most important feature of buying fruit juice, according to nudie's reserach.
The kids' nudie comes in four popular flavours:
- orange
- apple
- lemonade, and
- tropical (predominantly apple with banana, mango and passionfruit).
They come in colourful, cute and highly readable long life Tetra Pak cartons, and will last all day in a lunchbox without having to be refrigerated. They retail at selected supermarkets and stores for $6.99 for a six pack.
