Date: September 01 2015
With Victorians still shivering through winter, snow bunnies can rejoice – with plenty of snow at the seven Victorian snow resorts, there’s never been a better time to go to the snow!
“From the snow-capped mountains to snow ball fights, September is shaping up to be the perfect time for families to visit the Victorian snow resorts. As we near the end of the season, the resorts are offering special packages, like kids ski free, and it’s the perfect time to learn to ski with fewer people on the slopes,” says Lorena Gibson, Marketing and Communications Officer, Alpine Resorts Co-ordinating Council.
“There’s also plenty of snow at all of the Victorian snow resorts, and that looks set to continue through September. It’s the perfect time for people to experience everything a snow experience can offer, from tobogganing, taking learn to ski or snowboard lessons, dog sled tours, as well as the great cafes, restaurants and entertainment.”
Whether a first-time visitor to the snow, or someone that hasn’t returned in a while, there’s something for everyone to do and some amazing packages for the rest of the season, including:

Mt Baw Baw – ski peak snow at off-peak prices! Stay at one of Mt Baw Baw’s selectaccommodation options and receive heavily discounted package deals. Mt Baw Baw has also slashed prices on mid-week lift tickets for the remainder of the season, ski or board for just $25 per person Monday-Friday.
