AFL legend and TV personality, Shane Crawford has merged his passion for Australian sport and making people smile into an online hub of entertainment for kids and adults who enjoy the home grown Australian Rules ‘footy’.
“I’ve always wanted to produce bite-size pieces of light-hearted entertainment and crawf.com.au has been designed to do just that. At crawf.com.au we encourage people to break away from the craziness of their day to enjoy what we’ve got to offer at any time,” Crawford said.
The kids world of crawf.com.au offers everything from kids TV shows, footy skills workshops, footy tips, interactive games and lots of prizes to win. It also educates kids about healthy food – with a talking banana, strawberry, potato and others – and encourages kids to merge the online world of entertainment with gettingphysically active.
“One of my favourite parts of crawf.com.au is where I dare kids to challenge me in a sport other than AFL Football for the chance to win a free bike,” Crawford said.
There is also an adults section of the website which Crawford has labeled ‘Oldies’. If you like the idiosyncratic humour of programs like ‘The Footy Show’, the adults section of ‘CrawfTV’ could be for you. It features a selection of Crawford and friends entering into some 'interesting' adventures together.
Crawford played 305 AFL games for Hawthorn from 1993 – 2008. He was awarded the Brownlow Medal in 1999 and was inducted into the AFL Hall of Fame in 2012. He is dad to four sons ranging from 2-7 years.
