David Beckham’s empire has just expanded with the launch of a children’s wear collection in collaboration with H&M.
Keeping in line with his mainline collection, David Beckham's new children's range includes vests, shirts, pants, shorts and long johns. A number of the new children's pieces feature stripes — thin on tank tops and wider on long-sleeved T-shirts.
Age ranges are divided into 1.5 years to 8 years and 9 years to 14 years.
Beckham and his wife Victoria are parents to 14-year-old Brooklyn, 11-year-old Romeo and eight-year-old Cruz, as well as 2-year-old Harper.
Described by H&M as a 'cool yet comfortable range', the pieces designed by the retired footballing ace mirror the Spring collection created by Beckham for his adult underwear line.
A campaign for David Beckham Bodywear spring/summer collection for adults is set to air during this year's Super Bowl.
The commercial is expected to have Beckham stranded on a roof in nothing but his underwear.
A spokesman added: 'Pieces such as the grey jersey pyjama shorts show the heritage athletic influence, which comes from David's own love of vintage sportswear.'
H&M will be opening its Australian flagship store in the ‘first half’ of 2014 in Melbourne’s GPO building, while a three-level 3000 square metre site on Sydney's George Street is rumoured to follow Melbourne.
