With so many choices when it comes to prams, it's easy to become overwhelmed by all the options. The Mountain Buggy Swift should be considered if you're looking for a versatile pram.
The Mountain Buggy Swift's specifications are similar to the Mountain Buggy Urban. However, it's considerably narrower, lighter and less bulky – making it easier to navigate around the shops and when travelling.
We've still walked ours off road and in urban environments. It does well, but would recommend other models, such as, Mountain Buggy Urban, Urban Elite or Mountain Buggy Terrain for running and jogging.
The Swifts adjustable handlebars accommodate users of various heights easily (from 78-106cm / 31-42" high).
Retailing for $599, its design is suitable for newborns, infants and toddlers with a maximum capacity of 25 kgs. The Mountain Buggy Swifts seat is adjustable via strap and can be position from upright to nearly flat positions, great for napping little ones.
The Swift weight in at 9.5kg, 2 kgs lighter than the Mountain Buggy Urban and is available in three colours: chili, flint and lime. It has a relatively compact stand fold (96cm / 36" high, 30cm / 12" deep) with quick release wheels for a more compact pack down and is compatible with the swift carrycot and car seat adaptors.
The swift’s fabric is water repellent and cleans up easily after inevitable spillages. It could have a larger canopy for better protection from the elements.
It has a good overall stroller safety with a five-point harness and foot activated brakes.
The Mountain Buggy Swift stroller is a solid and reliable stroller. We have also had a Phil&Ted Navigator. When comparing the two – I would recommend the Mountain Buggy Swift for durability and quality of product.
