Sleepy Time Tips for your Baby:

For you and your baby, sleep time is an important and often stressful part of the day. Most babies sleep erratically during their first 6-12 weeks and some continue to have difficulty going to bed long into their toddler years.

Wife of Olympic swimmer Michael Klim and mother of 3, Lindy Klim is no stranger to the frustrations of getting your baby to sleep.

When her first child Stella suffered from colds that prevented a good night’s rest for the entire family, Lindy struggled to find a safe and natural solution. Her husband was developing his own skincare range at the time –Milk for men.

Inspired, Lindy sourced the best organic and natural-based ingredients to create a range of products that mums can confidently use to help put their babies to sleep, and so, Milk Baby was born!

Lindy shares her tips for sleep time with some helpful hints from the Milk Baby range…

Nighty, Night

Trying to sleep when you’re excited and restless is difficult for adults, let alone our little ones. Helping your child to relax before sleep time can allow them to prepare and settle for a good nights rest. Nighty Night Room Spray is made from Lavender oil, Chamomile extract as well as Neroli and Jojoba, all of which are proven to have calming effects for babies and adults.  Spray around your child’s room right before sleep time.

Everybody loves a massage

Making massage part of your baby’s routine can have remarkable effects on their sleeping pattern and their health.  A great way to help them relax before bed, it can also assist with colic and constipation. There are no rules, just warm some massage oil in your hands and then onto your baby’s tummy, rubbing softly in a circular motion.  I recommend Milk Baby Sleepy Bubs Massage Oil with all-natural ingredients; it is specially designed for young skin.

When they’re Snotty & Grotty

If like me, you feel uncomfortable at the thought of ventilators (mixing water and electricity next to your bub) you’ll be happy to know there is a simple and safe way to help your baby sleep during a terrible cold. With a blend of certified organic rosehip and eucalyptus oil, Snotty Grotty Room Spray clears the nose and helps to stop those sniffles and sneezes.

Here’s to a good night’s sleep!
