The lovable, cuddly bear most mums and dads grew up with – Humphrey B Bear – is back.
South Australia’s free-to-air community TV station, Channel 44, has had an extensive makeover and has brought back Humphrey as part of their children’s programs known as ‘C’mon Kids!’
The ‘C’mon Kids!’ shows can be seen on Chanel 44 from 7am to 8.30am six days a week, and will be extended nationally to other community TV stations.
And best of all, at 7.30pm every night, Humphrey B Bear will be beamed into living rooms across Australia to say goodnight to your little one.
“Family life has never been busier. We’d like to think that Humphrey’s goodnight message might give families an opportunity to come together after a hectic day of work, school, childcare and share some experiences. We also hope it creates a constant in the minds of children, creating routine and a bedtime ritual,” said Sarah Abbott from Humphrey B Bear Entertainment.
The goodnight message sees Humphrey’s mother, Mumphrey, reading him a bedtime story, kissing him goodnight and then Humphrey blows a goodnight kiss and waves to all his friends at home.
